Furious Butlin's customers have attacked the holiday giant for cancelling their trips at the last minute due to the pandemic.
The firm has slashed capacity by up to 50 percent and is having to disappoint some customers who have booked holidays. They have asked people who want their holiday to go ahead to ring up and confirm their booking, or risk losing it.
However many customers have reported being unable to get through on the phone line. One fuming holidaymaker tweeted: "After over 1,000 calls I will be incredibly disappointed and frustrated if you tell me my holiday is cancelled." Butlin's had sent emails on Friday warning customers that capacity has been slashed.
