Employees at The Black Ladd in Oldham were left with no other choice but to turn away 47 customers on Tuesday after someone used fake information to book out seven tables.
The reservations, for six dinners, were made via the online booking service using fake information and contact details each time, Manchester Evening News reported.
Staff at the Buckstones Road pub said this was done intentionally to “disrupt the business financially”.Bosses described it as being a “deliberate, disgusting act” which forced them to turn away paying customers who genuinely wanted to dine out.Among those who were refused.
