Non-essential retailers will be allowed to open from 15 June as part of the government's lifting of lockdown restrictions. Clothes shops, food retailers, mobile phone stores, markets, charity shops, betting shops and homeware stores will all be allowed to open their doors - as long as there are restrictions in place to protect customers.

High street chains are beginning to announce their plans for reopening, as many are only opening certain branches, limiting the number of people allowed in store, or operating one way systems.

Changing rooms will be banned, and customers will be encouraged to only touch things they intend to buy. These are the shops that have so far confirmed they will be reopening when restrictions are lifted next month:
