The car parks at Dovestone Reservoir fill up quickly on warm days, forcing marshalls to close the sites to prevent carnage on the small areas.
However, the chaos is usually just pushed further up the road, with traffic queueing on Holmfirth Road waiting for spaces to open up, and cars parking illegally along the street, making an already risky road even more dangerous.
