Freak cloud and cold temperatures suddenly descend on sunbathers at busy UK beach

dailystar.co.ukSun-seeking Brits were left baffled when a thick grey cloud engulfed the entire beach they were sitting on during the hottest day of the year so far.
Videos emerged on social media of the strange phenomenon as people flocked to the beach at Budleigh Salterton in east Devon to enjoy the blazing hot weather and sunshine.
In the footage, the sky turns grey and foggy as the dark cloud approach and block the view of the sea . Only a few sun-seekers remain on the pebble beach at around noon.
One sunbather told Devon Live: "It's so weird in Budleigh today. "It's really busy because of the sunny weather but suddenly it's really cloudy. "It looks like everyone has gone mad and sunbathing in the cold." The Met Office had forecast the hottest day
