That’s the sentiment you’ve probably found in every other tweet when searching the actor’s trending name this past week.  The 28-year-old was one of the first prominent black British talents to decry the police brutality suffered by George Floyd, the African-American man who died following a horrific arrest where a white police officer continued to kneel on his neck for more than eight minutes.

After tweeting: ‘I f***ing hate racists,’ John then doubled-down in a scathing video where he made it clear his glistening Hollywood career wouldn’t deter him from speaking his mind on all matters when it comes to race.
