Romain Navarrete has left London Broncos. The former Wigan Warriors forward has departed the Championship club with immediate effect, having arrived before the start of the season.

The France international arrived at the capital club after leaving the Warriors and made an instant impression, being named man of the match on debut against Keighley Cougars.

He has gone on to make 10 appearances for the Broncos, scoring two tries, but his departure has now been finalised just days after the exit of head coach Danny Ward.

It remains to be seen what is next for the 27-year-old, who played 60 times for the Warriors over four seasons. Also formerly of Wakefield and Catalans, Navarrete is thought to be on the lookout for a new club.
