FORMER EastEnders actress Jasmine Armfield kept viewers glued to their screens when she played Bex Fowler in EastEnders. But three years after quitting the BBC soap it looks as though Jasmine, 24, has decided to swap the small screen for theatre - and has landed a huge role.

Jasmine, who played Bex Fowler between 2014 to 2020, is part of the cast for Jumping The Shark, which is set to tour the UK, starting in Bury St Edmonds.

Jasmine took to social media to inform her fans of her new role. She said: "Jumping The Shark- a new play by David Cantor and Michael Kingsbury.

Previews start 28th January. Opening night 31st January at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds." But its not just her career that got fans excited - last year she posted a picture of herself with a brand new hair colour.
