Foodie shares 'roast dinner' snap on Rate My Plate – but not all is what it seems

dailystar.co.ukA young woman has blown foodies away with her hyper-realistic roast dinner cupcakes. Amy-Louise Hirst, founder of Amy’s Cupcakes, posted a snap of her latest cupcake to the Facebook page Rate My Plate Group.
The group posts photos of their meals to the page for members to rate… or slate. And Amy’s creation left hundreds impressed.
The photo she posted was a zoomed in snap of a cupcake she had made with fondant icing decoration styled to look like a traditional roast dinner.
She titled the caption, simply: “Sunday Roast cupcake.” The tiny cake racked up 2.5k likes and over 500 admiring comments. Some admitted that they had been fooled by her realistic modelling skills.
