Eat Out to Help Out scheme comes to a close on August 31 having offered £10 off meals during August at thousands of eateries across the UK.

The UK Government incentive to encourage the nation to support the hospitality sector has been a huge hit with more than 64 million Brits taking advantage of the Monday to Wednesday discounted food offer.

And some restaurants and pubs across Scotland are keeping the initiative going throughout September - even though they can't claim back the discounted difference.

NHS workers, emergency services and social care workers can also access exclusive deals and discounts across thousands of UK food and drink venues - even after the Eat Out to Help Out scheme has ended.
