mirror.co.ukFloyd Mayweather has reportedly scrapped his proposed comeback after being rocked by two deaths in a week. The former pound-for-pound great was hit hard by the death of his uncle and former trainer Roger Mayweather on Tuesday.
That came seven days after Mayweather's ex-girlfriend Josie Harris was found dead in her car outside her home in California.
Mayweather, who retired seemingly for good in 2017 following his facile win over Conor McGregor, had planned to return this year.
He had held discussions with UFC president Dana White over a fight with another mixed martial artist with McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov at the front of the queue.
