Retired boxer Marcos Maidana twice fought Floyd Mayweather and twice came close to claiming his world titles. But the only thing he came away with was Money's tooth.
The pair first clashed in May 2014, with Maidana holding the WBA welterweight belt at the time. The unification bout was hosted at Mayweather's home turf - the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA.
Before the fight Mayweather described his opponent as "an extremely skilled fighter who brings knockout danger to the ring".
He wasn't wrong. The first bout proved to be one of Mayweather's toughest in his career. In fact, CompuBox revealed the welterweight champion was hit more than in any of his previous 38 fights.
