Flooding across Scotland has sparked train chaos as passengers are being hit with 'major' disruption.ScotRail warned customers of delays throughout Thursday as heavy rain continued to batter the country.
The rail operator reported several services across central Scotland were affected and added that they were struggling to get replacement buses.
The issues have continued into Thursday night, with a raft of services hit by long delays due to speed restrictions as the deluge continues.This includes train services between Dumfries and Carlisle, which ScotRail says have now been suspended.Dunblane and Alloa to Edinburgh services are delayed, along with trains between Edinburgh and North Berwick and Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts.ScotR
