Arsenal fans have been expressing their joy at seeing Kieran Tierney’s wonderful tackle for Scotland during their 2-0 win against Moldova.The Scotsman lunged brilliantly to deny Moldova a goal after Vadim Rata had his VAR-awarded penalty saved eight minutes from time.After Craig Gordon saved the penalty, the ball flew back out and seemed destined to be scored on the rebound by Rata, but Tierney somehow managed to get his feet in first and put the ball out of play for a corner.

Arsenal’s official Twitter account reposted the goal and its supporters relished in delight about what they saw. One said: “Unbelievable tackle, outrageous in fact.
