The spin-off series from 2020 Channel 4 hit Five Guys A Week now features hopeful romantics of all genders and sexual orientations, opening themselves up to the affections of five live-in suitors… all at the same time.The "picker" and their five potential partners move in together to romantic Cupid Cottage.Throughout the week, the suitors compete against each other to stay the course, knowing that each day one of them must be eliminated.When five become one and only one admirer remains, will they turn out to be the perfect match?Daily Star spoke exclusively to hunky Instagram star Michael, 24, who appeared in Sunday night's episode (May 29) as the first "picker".Michael had five gorgeous young women - Charley, Brittany, Zainab, Miranda and Poppy - all competing to win him over.

The episode's main plot twist came when Michael still had three girls to choose from, but Brittany voluntarily chose to jump before she was pushed.Michael has now given his verdict on that development."It’s so funny because I was going to send Brittany home anyway!" he said. "But I think she sensed I was going to send her home anyway."Therefore she made that decision just to save face - that’s my personal opinion.

Because just before the sending home, me and her, we had sort of an interaction that was somewhat negative - nothing crazy - so there was some tension already."But it was pretty funny when she did say this because I didn’t expect it!

I was like 'Oh I’m living in a movie right now!' But I think it added a bit more spice." The five girls did bond, but there were also clashes as they competed to win over Michael. "I thought the girls were going to be more.
