A British pilot who died along with three family members in a horror car plunge has been named, as pictures emerge of the tragic four.

Richard Addicott, a relief captain for airline Norwegian Air Shuttle, was killed in Gran Canaria when the car he was in with wife Rita Garcia Bolaños, her dad Ivan Garcia Buelna and one of the father's daughters, Marta Garcia Bolaños, plunged 246 feet down a precipice.

Richard who was on holiday from London visiting his wife's father. He was a pilot for Norwegian Air Shuttle and lived in London with his wife, but made frequent trips to the Canary Islands to visit Rita's father and grandmother, according to reports.
