STARGIRL'S creator has warned fans the DC superhero series will be ‘very different’ from the rest of The Arrowverse. The new show will debut on DC Universe and The CW in a matter of days with Brec Bassinger as high school student Courtney Whitmore, who is about to become the titular Stargirl.

The CW has made their decision about if DC’s Stargirl will be continuing on, and revealed that they have renewed the new series for a second season!

Joe Otterson TV Reporter“Stargirl” has been renewed for a second season at The CW.With the renewal, The CW and its digital platforms will be the exclusive in-season home of the series starting with its second season. Season 2 will not stream on the show’s original home at DC Universe.

The CW has revealed a few spring premiere dates in its attempt to feature scripted programming continuously throughout the year. In addition to the news of Stargirl's broadcast TV debut, the network has also announced when viewers can expect to see the final season of The 100 and Season 2 of the dramedy In the Dark.
