Firing squad tyrant primed to replace Kim Jong-un and be 'real power' in North Korea

One of the most powerful figures behind Kim Jong-un lined up to take over as Supreme leader of North Korea if he dies is believed to be a firing squad tyrant who's already used to ruling with an iron fist.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was reported this week to be gravely ill following surgery. The claims in US media suggested Kim's health was failing through heart complications, although they have been denied by South Korea and there is no firm evidence to back them up.

Kim Jong-un had last been seen on April 11 when he took part in a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
