Filip Helander has tested positive for coronavirus. The big defender will now self-isolate in accordance with government guidelines and will be unavailable for 10 days after the result was returned.

The 27-year-old hasn't started for Steven Gerrard 's men since he made two crucial mistakes in the 3-3 draw with Benfica earlier in the month.

Until that point he had been in excellent form and had made 13 appearances in the heart of the defence alongside Connor Goldson.
