An episode of Fawlty Towers is set to be reinstated on UKTV after it was initially removed because it included "racial slurs".
The "Don't Mention The War" episode in the classic 1970s sitcom, starring John Cleese as Basil Fawlty, has been confirmed to be returning to UKTV "in the coming days", in a statement from the organisation.
This comes after a number of other series, including Little Britain and Come Fly With Me, were removed from streaming services due to their use of blackface.
UKTV, which is owned by BBC Studios, have said that guidance and warnings highlighting the episode's “potentially offensive content and language” will feature alongside the episode.
