A murder trial is set to get under way after Jeramie Shorter, 26, was gunned down on Saturday at 11.30am, outside Weerts Funeral Home, in Davenport, Iowa.According to local reports he was at the home to attend his eight-year-old son Jermier's remains after the boy lost his battle with cancer.
