Hundreds of football fans have gathered at Ibrox Stadium ahead of the funeral of Rangers legend Walter Smith. The cortege of the former manager, who died last week at the age of 73, will pass the Glasgow club's home ground before a private family ceremony.Fans gathered along the streets outside with some wearing club colours.Others held scarves and carried flags to pay tribute to Smith who also managed Everton and Scotland.Many fans had also gathered on the day his death was announced with tributes still adorning the gates of the famous stadium.
The cortege on Wednesday will pass Ibrox at 3.15pm from Helen Street, driving in the direction of Paisley Road West before rejoining the motorway.
