family in a village in Yorkshire kept the rotting remains of their daughter at home for six weeks and were caught out when people noticed they 'smelled of dead bodies'.
Rina Yasutake, a 49-year-old artist, was found decomposed by police in her family home in Helmsley, near York, in September 2018.
A neighbour of the family said that they begged police not to take her away as ‘her soul had not left’, reports Yorkshire Live.
An earlier hearing heard how North Yorkshire Police made the discovery after a tip-off from local pharmacy staff, who said Rina's siblings 'smelled of dead bodies'.
