Train services in Falkirk were disrupted after a person died on the railway line near Glasgow. British Transport Police responded to the incident between Lenzie and Bishopbriggs at 7.59am on Tuesday November 9.
Services between Edinburgh and Glasgow via Falkirk High were diverted through Cumbernauld at around 8.19am. ScotRail advised those travelling between Edinburgh and Glasgow to use an alternative route via Shotts or Airdrie and Bathgate.
They added that various routes were affected and replacement buses were sourced shortly afterwards for travel to some areas.This included two buses from Glasgow Queen Street towards Bishopbriggs, Lenzie and Croy which were expected to reach by 10am.Four other buses were arranged as of 9.26am,
