Love Island is mere weeks away and the brand new villa is getting a major relocation and upgrade.As confirmed earlier this month, the ITV2 series will return to screens on June 6.In February, it was revealed that producers of the show were scouting for another villa and ditching the Spanish farmhouse in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, Mallorca which was used for the previous four seasons.A replacement villa has since been found and renovations on the house which will camp the new batch of Islanders are still ongoing.Over recent days, a number of workers have been photographed on location at the six-bedroom villa in Mallorca.Photographs of the dwelling show building work is still heavily underway.The stone-covered mansion is the centrepiece of a lush complex which will host this year's contestants.It comes complete with a long driveway for the new Islanders to make their long-anticipated arrivals.While a lot of work has yet to be complete, some of the show's signature outdoor Cabana beds have been erected.ITV confirmed the villa relocation in a statement earlier this year, telling The Mirror: "The ultimate summer of love is on the horizon as Love Island makes its long-awaited return, direct from a brand new villa in Majorca."Surrounded by Spanish hillside, the move follows a security breach in last year's show which saw the villa gatecrashed by YouTuber Omer Majid.Of his break-in, Omer previously told Daily Star: "I planned it for a while.
