Prior to the formation lap at Silverstone on Sunday afternoon, an "Act Now" banner was unfurled.The flag was spotted in the distance on TV down the end of the track.They were stopped by security, though, before police dealt with the members of Extinction Rebellion.A joint statement from Silverstone and Northamptonshire Police said: "During the race, Northamptonshire Police were made aware of four people who had been detained by Silverstone security inside the venue perimeter."Officers are working closely with Silverstone Circuit and conducting a full investigation.
