Joe Sugg has landed his first major acting role in TV after being cast in the new series of the BBC's drama The Syndicate. The 28-year-old YouTube star is better known for being himself on his social media channels but this time he is stepping into the shoes of someone else as he joins a star-filled cast.

Joe was a questionable addition to the Strictly Come Dancing line-up in 2018 but he soon won the hearts of the nation with his performances with professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, who became his girlfriend during the process as the 'Strictly curse' struck again.
