The obituary follows Coun Greenhalgh's life from being born on Christmas Day 1967, through his education at Clevelands Preparatory School, Manchester Grammar School, and Bretton Hall College, to his time on the West End.
His performing career was then cut short due to being diagnosed with kidney failure, before Coun Greenhalgh became a councillor and Bolton's first Conservative leader in four decades.
