Interscope Records has promoted Laura Carter to senior vp/head of urban marketing at the label.Carter joined Interscope in 2008 following an internship with producer Polow Da Don.
Over the next 12 years, she rose through the executive ranks while working closely with J. Cole and his Dreamville Records, including the roster on the label’s Revenge of the Dreamers compilation franchise.
She has also worked with Mustard’s 10 Summers label on releases from Mustard, R&B artist Ella Mai and emerging artist Ryan Trey."I'm thrilled to be able to continue to contribute to the success of our artists and label partners in a bigger, more collaborative way,” said Carter in a release.
