Keith “Keefa” Parker has been named vp of A&R at Atlantic Records, based out of Los Angeles.Parker is following in the footsteps of his father, former Death Row A&R executive Keita Roc, who worked with the late Nipsey Hussle early in the rapper’s career.
Hussle later took Parker under his wing and introduced him to Atlantic Records’ Dallas Martin, who offered him an internship in 2018.Parker subsequently brought Roddy Ricch to the attention of Hussle and Atlantic and served as an executive producer on Ricch’s smash debut album, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial.
He is now working with Ricch on his follow up as well as A&Ring Ty Dolla $ign’s new album. Brand and content strategist Egomeli Hormeku has been named senior vp and creative.
