secondary pupils face an anxious wait this morning as exam results are revealed across the country today. The majority of young people in Scotland should receive their results from around 9.30am this morning.
And the whole process looks different once again this year after Scots schools were heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Last year saw exams cancelled, with an algorithm put in place to help with grading - taking into account the previous attainment of individual schools when grading estimates from teachers.
But many people were left furious at the system which saw almost 125,000 pupils get their grades downgraded - a disproportionate number of which came from poorer areas.
