Scots are facing a wintry weekend of weather as temperatures drop to -3 overnight and snow forecast. It may have taken longer this year but the freezing temperatures have finally arrived after a largely mild November and people can expect days of snowfall.An Arctic blast overnight had temperatures falling to -9C in North West Scotland in the early hours of Friday morning.
WXCharts maps show icy blue across the country over the coming days, reports The Mirror. During Friday temperatures will remain close to zero in Scotland according to weather maps, then by Friday evening the maps are set to turn icy blue again with lows of -4C.
