Aldershot Town boss Danny Searle insists Ross McCormack "hasn't bankrupted" the club after his shock move to the English non-league side.The ex-Rangers striker has commanded over £25 million in transfer fees during spells at Fulham, Cardiff and Aston Villa.
However, the Scotland cap last played for The Steelmen in his second spell at Fir Park while on loan from Villa in early 2019.
The 34-year-old made just four appearances off the bench for Stephen Robinson's side before he was released from his Villa Park contract.
