Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson believes VAR has taken something away from football after the controversial decision to award Brighton a penalty on Saturday.
Diogo Jota had put the Reds in front with a fine finish and they looked set to leave the Amex Stadium with all three points but in the final minute, Brighton were awarded a penalty when Robertson was adjudged to have brought down Danny Welbeck in the box.The decision came after the referee reviewed the decision on the pitchside monitor and sparked complaints by Liverpool players after the match.James Milner said he was "falling out of love" with football while Jordan Henderson was adamant it was the wrong decision.Robertson was pressed for his thoughts on VAR in the pre-match press.
