The AA has warned of potential 'confusion and dangerous situations' over a new Highway Code rule change. From January 29, motorists will have to give way to cyclists and pedestrians at junctions.
After surveying over 13,000 drivers, the AA found that only a third were aware of the rule change. Under the revised rules, drivers and cyclists must give way if pedestrians are waiting to cross the road into which or from they are turning.
