Everton look set to land £25million-rated Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure in the coming days, according to reports. The Toffees had a similar bid for the Frenchman rejected last summer but are confident of landing their man this time around.
That is because Watford are resigned to losing the 27-year-old after their relegation to the Championship. The Hornets will not let him leave on the cheap but are willing to sell him for their £25m asking price, according to The Mirror .
It is claimed that Everton have a four year contract on the table for Doucoure and want the deal tied up quickly.The player is believed to be happy to move to Goodison Park and personal terms are not expected to be a problem.
