Eurovision 2021 will 'definitely' go ahead in May this year, however bosses are yet to confirm whether it will be a 'socially distanced' or 'virtual' event.

According to the event organisers, Eurovision is hoping to allow all the contestants to perform on the same stage - but are making plans for various scenarios, just in case this is not possible.

Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, Martin Österdahl, has revealed that organisers are doing everything they can in order for the Rotterdam gathering to go ahead.

The latest announcement comes just three months before the event is scheduled to take place the Netherlands on the 18, 20, and 22 May 2021.
