Eurovision 2020 may have been cancelled due to coronavirus, but some competing countries have already confirmed they’ll be sending their same act to represent them during next year’s contest.
Following concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, the Eurovision Song Contest will no longer take place in 2020. A statement from the EBU read: ‘The uncertainty created by the spread of Covid-19 throughout Europe – and the restrictions put in place by the governments of the participating broadcasters and the Dutch authorities – means the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has taken the difficult decision that it is impossible to continue with the live event as planned.’ The semi-finals for Eurovision 2020 had been scheduled to take place on 12 and 14
