The EU is calling to suspend entry for all foreign nationals in an effort to curb the coronavirus pandemic. The head of the European commission has called for a temporary ban on all non-essential foreign travel into all parts of the EU, as Europe becomes the epicentre of the outbreak.
The President of the European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen said in a televised video conference on Monday: "Here in Europe we are heavily affected by the virus and we know that everything that reduces social interaction also reduces the speed of the spread of the virus.
