Erling Haaland has congratulated Takumi Minamino after he scored in Liverpool's 7-0 win at Crystal Palace. The Japanese star was once team-mates with the Borussia Dortmund forward during their time at Red Bull Salzburg.
Minamino's strike at Selhurst Park was his first Premier League goal. He has struggled to truly establish himself at Anfield having been used in a variety of positions.
But he was given a start ahead of Mohamed Salah in south London and took just two minutes to get on the score sheet. Minamino posted on Instagram hailing the team performance as they remain top of the pile.
