Entire street of residents dance to Saturday Night while keeping 2m social distance

A group of Dublin residents took over an entire street as they performed an iconic dance routines at social distancing during lockdown.

Cheerful Ringsend residents lined the streets to perfectly pull off moves to 90s hit "Saturday Night" by Whigfield taken from a scene in a popular Channel 4 show.

Footage taken from the locals shown members of the families living at Canon Mooney Gardens maintaining a two-metre distance from each other while dancing joyfully to the infectious tune.

They stand on the one-way road and perform the simple dance and claps following the upbeat music. Some youngsters are seen dancing on the elevated garden.
