A Scottish dog owner has shared a video of her "gorgeous" endangered puppy that has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times in less than 24 hours.Bobbi Mulholland, 30, from Edinburgh posted a clip of her Skye Terrier on TikTok earlier this week.
The dog, named Murdo, is a rare Skye Terrier. The breed is considered "one of the most endangered" in the United Kingdom according to the Kennel Club.
A symbol of Scotland, with the iconic Greyfriars Bobby believed to be a Skye Terrier, it is thought that there are as few as 3,000 remaining in the world.Speaking to the Daily Record, Mulholland commented: "Although he is only a few months old, Murdo is already true to his breed.
If you know the story of Greyfriars Bobby, his loyalty wouldn’t come as a surprise, he is also remarkably intelligent and as strong willed as a young terrier should be."The clip Mulholland shared to TikTok shows her cuddling her adorable little pup, who sits in her lap quietly as she speaks.
