Ben Richards will reportedly be playing newcomer Gavin in upcoming Emmerdale scenes where his character will "ruffle a few feathers" in the village.

It was announced last month that Footballers' Wives star Ben, 49, would be joining the hit ITV soap with details about his character yet to be revealed at the time.

And now, according to new reports, Ben will be playing the role of villain Gavin, who is connected to Al Chapman, and he will make an "explosive" entrance.
