Ellen DeGeneres Show, the daytime talk show is now the subject of an internal investigation.Variety confirmed on Monday, July 27, that WarnerMedia would be conducting a review of the show amid multiple reports of problematic experiences on set.
According to the publication, production executives sent a memo to their employees noting that a third party firm and WarnerMedia’s employee relations group would be interviewing current and former staffers as part of the investigation.Earlier this month, 10 former Ellen employees claimed in a report published by BuzzFeed News that they faced racism, fear and intimidation behind the scenes of the long-running daytime series.
