direct to your inboxEasyjet has announced it will soon be slashing its on-board luggage allowance.The new carry-on rules restricts travellers bringing a small bag that can fit under a seat free of charge - unless they pay for an overhead locker in advance.While passengers will no longer be allowed to pay extra to be able to bring another bag on board the cabin at check in.Only customers who pay more in advance for “upfront" or extra legroom seats will be able to bring a larger bag into the cabin in addition to the smaller one.
While passengers holding easyJet Plus cards, or those who splash out on higher 'flexi' fares will also be allowed to carry an extra piece of hand luggage - but it must fit in the overhead locker.
