The actor, who plays Ben Mitchell in the BBC soap, and the former show-runner, have called time on their relationship after two years together.
The former couple, who met on the set of EastEnders, are believed to have split amicably with no-one else involved. Their split comes just weeks after the internet went wild for a strange comment from the newly single star's Instagram post from colleague Jessie.
On a picture of the young actor at the NTAs two years ago, the Kat Slater actress wrote: "'Remember… if you need a m***e to cry on….
