East Kilbride Probus learns about speaker's African adventures

The meeting of East Kilbride Probus Club opened with a few words of welcome from president Ray Jones who then conducted the club's business.

He then welcomed and introduced the speaker Malcolm Christie to talk about his life in a new African state – Zambia.Mr Christie was posted fresh from Oxford University in 1959 to what then was Barotseland, and which had been a British Protectorate for some 70 years.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
