Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.A man who called for a crackdown on anti-social behaviour has admitting hitting a neighbour with a dog chain.Jason Dickeson appeared from custody this week in relation to the May 27 disturbance.The 47-year-old admitted having an offensive weapon and using the chain to strike his victim on the body in Catacol Grove on May 27.He previously called on the News to raise awareness of an upsurge in disorder in the Lindsayfield street.Appearing at Hamilton Sheriff Court via videolink, Dickeson also admitted acting in a threatening or abusive manner on May 19 and 26, and breaching a court order banning him from contact with neighbours.Referring to the assault, defence agent.
