A serial knife offender went into East Kilbride police station armed with a blade because he wanted to be jailed. Hamilton Sheriff Court heard Thomas Mina was angry that he’d been given bail the previous day.So he showed a police station employee his knife and said he had planned to attack someone.Mina, 29, got his wish as he was then sent to HMP Addiewell.The “bizarre” tale unfolded when he appeared via videolink at court on Friday.Mina, a prisoner, admitted illegal possession of a kitchen knife at the police station on February 25 while already on bail.Jennifer McLaren, prosecuting, said he turned up at 2.30pm.She explained: “He told the woman working at the enquiries desk that he was looking for help as he was in some trouble.“He went
