East Ayrshire Council have issued some information on the reopening of schools - which is set to take place in August.The local authority's education chief says that some staff could return to school in less than two weeks - on June 15 with some pupils returning the following week.Schools will also adopt a blended approach which will consist of pupils learning in school and at home.Linda McAulay-Griffiths, East Ayrshire's head of education has also said that priority will be given to pupils entering P1 and S1 after the summer with transition events also penciled in too.Bosses say that 'detailed and extensive' plans are being prepared through working groups that include head teachers, staff, unions and parent councils.Ms McAulay-Griffiths.
